BEHIND THE LENS​

However you found me, I'm happy you're here.

 

My name is Molly and I have spent the last 23 years changing my mind. I grew up performing, always with the intention to pursue it professionally, until I got to college and decided instead to study medicine. Four years and one class short of finishing the pre-med track later, I graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in Neuroscience & Behavior and applied for a fellowship in Creative Writing. Now I live in New York City, exploring, hustling, and continuing to learn about myself and others.

The one constant for me has been a drive to work with people–to understand and empathize with others; to learn what makes them tick. Photography has given me a lens (no pun intended) through which to see, and show, the complex emotions that each of us feels.

In my photography sessions, I aim first and foremost to make you feel comfortable. The goal is to capture who you are at your core–and what better way to do that than to talk and giggle and dance? Every session should be FUN. From there, we can do whatever you want. If you ask me, a good headshot should be a perfect combination of the photographer and model's vision.
